Soft and fluffy as a snowdrift, the white, felted wool of this stocking gives it a luminous quality. Carol handstitched snowflakes all over it, front and back. She also highlighted the top and toe with white pennies set off with contrasting blue Valdani thread that Jack Frost would approve of! Each penny has a small, antique button sewn to it. As beautiful a job as she did on the stocking, her favorite part is the loop! This soft wool made a perfect tube that allows the stocking to hang effortlessly from a knob, hook, or nail. It measures 22.5" from toe to top, not including the fabulous loop which is 4" long. It can accommodate a knob about 3" in diameter.
